The department is active in teaching and assist in most areas of pure and applied mathematics, including algebra and number theory, analysis, discrete mathematics, geometry/topology, mathematical finance, numerical analysis, partial differential equations, probability, representation theory, and time-series analysis.
Currently, the Department runs for B.E, B.Tech,IT,B.Sc,B.Math,B.Stat,BCA,MCA in Mathematics and Application course to prepare students with a firm foundation of both the theory and practice through a comprehensive undergraduate program.
